Pressure Treated Wood
Most dimensional lumber is treated to .25 or .40 pcf in ACQ. Larger dimensional lumber (2x8 and above) can be treated to .60 pcf with CCA for use in certain commercial construction applications. We usually recommend .60 pcf (CCA or ACQ) for freshwater use, ground contact, or extreme weather conditions, .80 CCA for government specifications or brackish (salty fresh) water, and 2.5 pcf CCA for projects in saltwater.
Dimensional (S4S) Lumber (Planed)
Building Products Plus supplies almost any length of S4S lumber so call us and tell us what you need. We can supply it. See the grade and length charts below for more information. If you have any questions, call us at 800-460-8627 or contact us via this website.

Other sizes are available, so if you have any questions, give us a call. If you are unsure about what sizes you need, we can advise and even connect you with an engineer and/or builder. To add even more to your options, we are a custom manufacturer so we can create the materials you need if we cannot find them - corbels, columns, special industrial production; we can build almost anything.
Treated Rough Lumber
We specialize in pressure treated rough lumber. We manufacture many standard sizes and will produce any custom size you need. Call us to order any dimension or length of rough lumber you need. You may also order special dimensions such as a 4.5in x 11.25in - 28ft. We can cut, dry, treat, and ship it to you or your jobsite. Would you like a corbel on the end of it? Your wish - or your customer's wish - is our command. Contact us via this website or call (800) 460-8627 to discuss your project.
If you are looking for treated rough lumber components for your bulkhead or retaining wall, please call us (800) 460-8627. For a super long-lasting bulkhead or retaining wall, use poly coated wood on your wood components. Poly coated wood defends wood from attacks by marine borers, termites, and UV rays. It also prevents the leaching of treatment chemical from the wood - meaning the treatment stays in the wood forever to protect and preserve it and it stays out of the environment.
Fire Retardant Lumber
Building Products Plus is a certified distributor of Fire Retardant Lumber. Fire retardant lumber is used for commercial applications as protections against flame spread. We supply a full line of FRT lumber. Call us at 800-460-8627 for information about fire retardant lumber or contact us via this website.
Definitions:
FRT - Fire Retardant Treated
Flame Spread - test method used to determine flame resistance of materials
Hygroscopicity - rate at which the wood absorbs moisture from the atmosphere as relative humidity increases.
